Superintendent Message: Nov. 4 - 8
SUPERINTENDENT MESSAGE
Inspired by Christ on a Journey to Encounter, Nurture, and Serve.
Inspiré par Dieu dans une Aventure à Découvrir, Grandir, et Servir.
November 4 - 8, 2024
Good morning,
Last week, our schools were full of excitement as we celebrated Halloween together. We also had the chance to be in school for All Saints Day, honouring those who have followed God’s call and dedicated their lives to His Word.
As we enter Parent-Teacher Interview week, we want to extend our thanks for the flexible ways you’ve provided for families to connect with you. Open, positive communication between parents and educators is essential to helping students succeed, and we truly appreciate your dedication to making that happen. Thank you for sharing valuable insights and strengthening the relationships between home and school, all while supporting students’ growth with compassion and care.
In November, we focus on Remembrance Day, honouring the courage of those who fought to protect our freedoms and the sacrifices made so we could live in peace. Their dedication is something we honour deeply, with the hope that their bravery and commitment to justice will always be remembered and never be in vain. At the same time, our thoughts turn to those affected by the ongoing conflicts around the world today. Let us pray for peace and an end to suffering and hope for a future where all can live safely and freely.
Enjoy your week ahead as you celebrate students' accomplishments with families.
Kathleen Finnigan, Superintendent
