📷 Weathersfield Elementary Honors Local Heroes at Annual Patriotic Assembly
Last week, the Weathersfield Elementary School community gathered for their annual Patriotic Assembly to honor first responders, active members of the military and veterans. Students sang patriotic songs, had the opportunity to meet local first responders, and shared their gratitude for their service.
We are proud to provide all students with a Chromebook through the District’s 1:1 Program. While Chromebooks are provided at no cost to families, proper use and care of the Chromebook is the responsibility of the student and their parent/guardian. To support this program, CVUSD is offering Chromebook Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) program for families to eliminate the concern and costs of repairing or replacing damaged, or stolen Chromebooks.
📍 Important Note: Coverage must be in place prior to a claim being submitted = the time is now to secure Chromebook Accidental Damage Protection for your student's Chromebook!

DCH Subaru of T.O. Shares their Love of Learning with $7,500 Donation to Acacia
A huge thank you to community partner DCH Subaru of Thousand Oaks for stopping by our Acacia Magnet School for Enriched Learning last week with an amazing surprise for the Cubs team! As part of their "Subaru Loves Learning" campaign, they gifted 15 teachers $500 each, totaling $7,500, to enhance their classrooms and students' learning experiences. The DCH Subaru team also brought boxes of school supplies, t-shirts, water bottles, sweet treats, and warm wishes for a great school year.

We are so thankful for our caring community partners - thank you, Subaru!
