April 2025

April has sprung in our lives and with it comes flowers, allergies, and the holiday that reminds us of the resurrection of our Lord.

Christmas is my favorite holiday, but without Easter, we don't get the full magnitude of who Jesus is. Jesus not only sits with us in our sorrows and troubles, but He triumphs for us in our victories. He not only allows us to die to ourselves, but gives us life in Him.

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)

So whatever you may be going through as we head into April, we can look ahead to a resurrection not only of our new life, but of finding the joy and victory in our Savior every day.

ABLAZE Wednesday Nights

We'll be continuing with our ABLAZE Wednesday Nights on in the Youth Room from 6:30-8:30 pm. We will be finishing our series "Different" and having a few special guests in April and then end it with a new series called "Sharing Jesus Without Freaking Out."

Connection Hour

In the month of April, we will be starting a new series called "The Fuel & the Flame" that is a devotional about igniting our faith for Jesus to tell others about Him on Sundays in the Youth Room from 9:30-10:30 am.

April 6th: No Connection Hour (Confirmation Sunday)

April 13th: The Fuel & the Flame

April 20th: No Connection Hour (Easter Sunday)

April 27th: The Fuel & the Flame

Easter Egg Hunt Youth Help

This is an opportunity for our youth (especially those going on the Youth Gathering or the mission trip) to help serve and make the Easter Egg Hunt for grades 5th and younger a fantastic time!

When: April 19th from 9 a.m - 11 a.m.
Where: Worship Center Lobby
What: We will be putting out Easter eggs in the field by the playground and helping in any way we can!
Extras: We will have popsicles afterwards!

Easter Breakfast Fundraiser

This is our LAST FUNDRAISER for our youth going on the Youth Gathering or the mission trip!!! Instead of just breakfast tacos, we are going to offer more variety this time!

When: April 20th 8:30-10:30 am OR 10:30 am-12:30 pm
Where: Worship Center Lobby
What: We will be putting out food for people to eat and collecting free will offering. Please sign up for breakfast tacos OR any kind of breakfast finger food i.e. pancake on a stick, muffins, casserole, etc. Please sign up what you will be bringing if it's not tacos!
