STAFF MEMBER OF THE WEEK
This week, we are proud to recognize Mrs. Debbie Sickel as our Staff Member of the Week! Mrs. Sickel brings creativity and dedication to her 2nd grade classroom every single day. Her passion for teaching shines through in the way she supports her students' growth—both academically and personally. Needmore Elementary is lucky to have such a committed educator on our team. Congratulations, Mrs. Sickel! 👏🍎
ILEARN TESTING BEGINS APRIL 15
Our 3rd through 6th grade students will begin ILEARN testing on April 15. Students will need to have earbuds for testing. They do not need to be fancy or expensive, but they MUST be wired. Students cannot use wireless earbuds for testing.
WE NEED CARDBOARD BOXES
Needmore is getting an all new, state-of-the-art HVAC system this summer! This is EXCITING! It also comes with some headaches while the work is being done. One of the tasks we need to do is pack up our classrooms so they work can get done over the summer. This is where WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Are you overwhelmed with cardboard boxes showing up from Amazon, Walmart, Target, or any other school appropriate businesses? We can take those for you!
We need good cardboard boxes for teachers to pack classroom items to be stored over the summer. You can drop off the flattened boxes at the office and we will put them to good use. We appreciate any help you can provide!

Keeping Our Schools Safe with the STOPit App
We are proud to announce our partnership with STOPit Solutions, a nationally recognized leader in school safety and wellness.
Through this partnership, everyone in our school community has access to the STOPit anonymous reporting app – a powerful tool designed to deter and promptly address instances of bullying, school violence, self-harm, and inappropriate behaviors.
With the STOPit app, users can anonymously submit tips, attach photo or video evidence, and privately message school leaders with the necessary information to help everyone involved.
In addition, when a student or anyone in our school community needs immediate support, the STOPit app provides direct access to Crisis Text Line. Users can anonymously text with counselors (day or night) until they feel safe and calm.
We encourage everyone in our school community to download the STOPit app.
If you haven’t already done so, we kindly urge parents and guardians to download the STOPit app and become familiar with its features. This will not only enable you to guide your children in using the app but will also demonstrate our collective commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our whole school community. The STOPit app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
