12 Days of Christmas
Family-Teacher Conferences
Family-Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, December 12th from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Students will be dismissed at 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, December 12th. There will be no cafeteria service on that day.
Families will be required to schedule family-teacher conferences using the Online School Interviews website. You can access the site from our school website or by typing the following URL: https://www.schoolinterviews.ca
Detailed instructions are attached below to help you schedule your interview times.
Homeroom and Instructional Resource Teachers will meet families in their classrooms. Specialist Teachers (French, Physical Education, Music, Art and Guidance) will be situated in their designated office areas. A room directory will be posted in the main entrance of the school.
Interviews are strictly 10 minutes and spaces are limited. If you require more time with a teacher, please arrange a separate meeting by telephoning the school.
Student's Arriving After 8:15 p.m. Homeroom
Once classes begin at 8:15 a.m. students arriving late to school can be dropped off at front entrance of the school. Students arriving late are required to sign in at the main office before proceeding to class.
Personal Electronic Devices
Students will not be permitted to use personal electronic devises (cell phones, tablets, gaming systems, iPods, etc.) while at school. Unauthorized use of these devices disrupts instruction and distracts from the learning environment. If students are to bring cellphones to school to contact home after school hours, they must be powered off and kept in their school bag/locker at all times. If a parent/guardian needs to contact their child in the event of an emergency during class time, we ask that you call the main office and we will assist. Students are permitted to use the school phone located in the main office in cases where they need to call home. Sacred Heart Academy shall not assume any responsibility for theft, loss, or damage of personal electronic devices. Students and parents are urged to give appropriate consideration to what is brought to school.
Christmas Concert
We are excited to announce the upcoming Christmas Concert featuring Grades 3, 4 & 5, 5/6 French Immersion and Ms. Legge's Junior Choir, which will take place on Tuesday, December 10th. We are looking forward to an incredible performance by our talented students, and we hope you can join us for this special event.
To accommodate families with younger children, we will have a matinee performance at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10th. Parents with younger children should plan to attend the morning performance.
The evening performance is for adults and school aged children only, and doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m. We encourage all parents, guardians, and family members to attend and support our young performers. Tickets for the evening performance will be available for purchase at the door for $5.00. Tickets will also be on sale for a 50/50 draw.
Please note that the concert will take place in the school's gymnasium. We recommend arriving early to find a good seat and avoid any delays. We also ask that all attendees please be respectful of the performers and the other audience members by refraining from talking during the show and to remain seated until the end of the concert.
Thank you for your continued support of Sacred Heart Academy and our students. We look forward to seeing you at the Christmas Concert.

Sammy’s Closet will be accepting donations of new mitts at the school until December 20th. Warm a child's hands and warm your heart this holiday season!
