What a Week: a Trunk-or-Treat, a Spooktacular & a Fun Run. Thank you PTA, Parents, Teachers & Staff for making all of this possible.

What's Happening at Hawley .....

Thank you to all the people that were flexible with the weather, and decorated tables to hand out candy to our creatively costumed kiddos. Your support is Greatly Appreciated! You all did a Terrific Job!

The Spooktacular was so much fun. Music, snacks, Auction Items (thank you for your donations). The DJ was terrific and the kids danced the night away. Costumes were adorable ;0)

The Fun Run is our BIG Fundraiser this year. It was Soooooooo Much Fun. We ran, played, ate, and enjoyed being together as a school.

Money raised will be used to purchase items for our Return to Hawley that Teachers and Students have always wanted

• 1 class, in each grade, with the highest amount raised will get an ice cream party
• We HIT our goal of $10,000, so the PTA will arrange an exciting BMX Assembly

Current Top in each grade: Tatto, Annesley, Fusco, Boxer, Whitmore

Current Top 5 Overall: Boxer ($1,490), Tatto ($1,350), Leja ($1,035), Annesley ($990), Pirone ($935). WOW!

K-1 kids got to be with their grades 2-4 brothers/sisters. I tried very hard to get them all, (with many helpers), our sincerest apologies to families if we missed any.

Terrific Sportsmanship and cheering each other on!

• Veteran's Day Stars for our Wall of Honor. Students can honor a Veteran in your family. Please send them in when completed. Our Veterans Parade Information will be shared again as we get closer to 11/11
• Since we are in two buildings that students are unfamiliar, combined with the end of the day being very busy, we ask that no students be picked up between 3:00-3:25 PM.

• Wed, 11/23: 3-Hr Early Dismissal (12:37 pm)- Thanksgiving Break
• Thurs-Fri, 11/24-11/25: NO SCHOOL- Thanksgiving Break

" Uh, Yeah, you caught me " Mr. M replied

" That's Nice " the student shared

" You know he's lyin' right? That's probably his fastest " laughed another student
