Fire Prevention Week
On October 11th, Kindergarten and Grade One students had the Edison Firefighters come. The firefighters reviewed with the learners what to do in case there was a fire.
Family Planting Day
We want to thank all the families that came to Family Planting and donating plants and bulbs.
Clubs
Please see the club document listed with all the John Marshall Clubs. Please have your child sign up if they are interested. Each club has a maximum number of students that can join. Please be aware not all learners can get into all clubs. Parents/ Guardians must drop off and pick up their child at the appropriate time.
If you are late picking up your child, your child can be pulled from the club. Please click on the image for the link for the Clubs or click here.
Assembly for October
We are excited to host an assembly to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on October 17th. Students will learn how native cultures and Spanish culture combined to create a unique Mexican culture of music, dance, and costuming. Students come away with a fresh and authentic perspective of Mexican culture.
Important Information about new Bus Passes
Some children have been added to buses. Please review your Parent Portal and look for a bus pass if you completed an application this month. We are asking that you inform the teacher if your child was given a bus pass and they will be taking the bus to and from school. Once the school confirms that your child is on the bus we will give them a bus tag.
Parent Portal
This is a reminder that if you are interested in applying for the bus or free and reduced lunch you must complete the form by Sunday, October 13th.
