ABLAZE

Happy March! As we march forth (some of us marching to spring break 😅), let us run with perseverance and rely on the strength of the One who is the captain of our soul.

1 God is our refuge and strength,

an ever-present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way

and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam

and the mountains quake with their surging. (Psalm 46:1-3)

Hope you all have a wonderful start to March and start to spring! March is a big servant month in Youth Ministry with a large start with the Spring Sausage sale and Easter, but there are still other opportunities to connect!

We will be starting a new series on Easter called "Glow" in Connection Hour in the Youth Room on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The series will be March 17th and March 24th.

Week 1: "Jesus is with us in the darkness."

Week 2: "Jesus is the light in the darkness."

ABLAZE Wednesday nights will continue from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with food, fellowship, games, a message, and small group time.

We will be continuing with the series called "Red Letter Challenge," where we will be following a book of the same name that talks about Jesus' words, but also includes challenges and ways to grow your faith as well. It is made for 40 days and goes along with the season of Lent.

We will be doing this series on March 6th, March 20th, and March 27th.

There is a lot going on the week of Holy Week. Below are ways youth can help out! More info will be shared soon!

Saturday, March 30th: Easter egg hunt

Setting up the eggs, being there for the event, cleaning up

Sunday March 31st: Easter Breakfast Taco Sale (for those going on the mission trip)

Providing tacos, selling tacos
