Our little Cheetahs are embarking on a delightful journey of understanding emotions through the enchanting story of "The Color Monster" by Ana Llenas. Each monster is a different color that represents an emotion, helping our students connect feelings with colors. I encourage you to chat with your students about feelings. This will help them become more attuned to their emotions and distinguish between them. We've also been practicing some wonderful relaxation techniques in class that they can use at home. Ask them, they can show you :)

The week of Jan.21-24 we'll drive into the fascinating world of nutrition. We'll explore the differences between healthy and unhealthy food and learn about what our bodies need to stay active and strong.

• Language: Child begins to mimic intonation of language through songs and fingerplay.

• Math: Child understands that lengths of objects can vary and be compared.

• Reading: Child re-enacts a story after it has been read aloud.

• Writing: Child engages in free-choice drawing and writing activities.

• Please check seesaw for announcements and pictures of your students playing, and learning.

• Please remember to send your students with clothes and shoes that are suitable for the park in this winter time.

• Please send your students with clothes that are easy for them to put on and off when they use the restroom.
