No School Tomorrow (Friday, October 18th)
NBHS Teachers will be engaged in professional development on Friday, October 18th. There will be NO school for students. Enjoy the long weekend!
Homecoming Pictures
Homecoming pictures are available in the office. You may stop by during your lunch break, before school, or after school. Do not come during a class hour.
Senior Class of 2025
Please check your emails for a link to vote for class motto, song, color, and flower. Voting will close Thursday, October 17 at 2:20 PM
Senior Class Shirts are now available at The Ink Hive. Check your email or google classroom for the link. Sales run through Friday, November 15th.
BWAC Volleyball Showdown
On Tuesday 1October 22nd, our NB Bronco Volleyball team will be playing Imlay City. Imlay City is currently ranked 4th in Division II and NB is ranked 5th. Both of these teams are undefeated in the league. We would love to have a big crowd to cheer our girls on to victory. There will be a spirit bus that will leave at 5:00 pm. The cost to ride will be $5. Sign up is in the main office with Mrs. Naracon. You will need an additional $5 to buy a ticket to get in at the door.
PINK OUT DAY
The NBHS Student Council is asking you to join them for a "Pink Out Day" in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please wear Pink clothing on Wednesday, October 23rd in hour of those currently fighting and those wo have fought this battle.
The student council is also doing a (grade level) class competition "Which grade can donate the most money?" which will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. The money will be collected during all lunches, starting Monday, October 14 through October 23. Please bring your change (or even dollar bills) to help your class win.
Currently in 1st place is 12th grade with $48.30
2nd place is 10th grade with $10.00
Coming in a close 3rd is 11th grade with $9.28
4th place is staff with $4.10
And bringing up the rear is 9th grade with $3.33
Please continue to bring in your money and put it in the collection jars at lunch, today through next Wednesday (October 23). The class that collects the most money will win a treat at lunch the last week of October.
COLLEGE FAIR
NBHS will be Co-hosting a College Fair on Wednesday, October 23rd at the Lapeer High School 6:00 - 8:00 pm. See Mrs. LaBarge for more information
BOWLING TEAM
Those interested in joining the bowling team, please sign up at Mrs. Naracon’s desk in the main office. There will be a meeting on October 28 at 2:00 pm and practices will begin November 18th.
