Amy's Weekly Writeup
What you need to know for the week ahead (12/30/19-1/3/2020)
Shout Out!
This week's shout out was nominated by Alice. She wanted to acknowledge the support she received this week when she came in one morning feeling all frazzled. She rushed out to Meet & Greet where Robin, Carrie, and Amber told her to "go take care of what you need to do....we've got this!" Alice really appreciated the supportive way she felt taken care of by her colleagues.

On Deck For Next Week; CCS Events and Holidays
Tuesday: Make Up Your Mind Day is a very decisive day. All during the year, you've put on hold, many issues and decisions. Eventually, they need to be resolved and decided upon. Well, today is the day.
Wednesday: New Years Trivia: Did you know that a raisin dropped in a glass of fresh champagne will bounce up and down continuously from the bottom of the glass to the top.
Thursday: "Run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes" is an expression. It means to float an idea to see what people think, or if they notice. The term is commonly used in advertising and print media.
Run it Up the Flagpole to See if Anyone Salutes Day is set aside to allow people to do just that. Be creative today. Use this day to try and test new ideas and concepts. Don't limit the ideas to business applications. In your personal life, try out a new dress or clothing style, perhaps a different haircut. Or, maybe buy a new house flag and run it up the flagpole to see if anyone salutes...or even notices.
Friday: Festival of Sleep Day is today. It is an opportunity to sleep in, snooze, doze, nap, and catch 40 winks.
