The Principal's Nest
October 13th, 2019
Game On!
For New Staff -- Your Role:
● Teacher Huddle: Before the program, we will meet for 25 minutes to go over details, hand out class posters, and get to know each other. Teachers have the privilege of picking a class name, deciding on class awards, and pumping up students.
● Pep Rally: Wear your Apex swag, be excited, and pass out Pledge Kits.
● Set a Goal: Think about how much money you would like your class to raise. Remember that 10% of whatever your class profits goes right back to your classroom. How will you use that 10%, is there anything special you want to get for your classroom?
● Team Days: Just enjoy and continue encouraging students to earn class prizes. For 6 days after the Pep Rally the Apex program will be in your class for 6-8 minutes to share the leadership lesson and awards.
● Event Day: Be ready for the time of your life at the FUN RUN! Join us for 45 minutes of excitement and awesomeness. Come out to encourage your students and support your school. At the end of the event, you will be provided with a clipboard to document how many Laps each student completed. Clipboards will be returned to an Apex member.
● Follow Up: Send final follow up emails provided by your Apex team members. Post pictures on your school social media to celebrate your time with Apex!
Long story short: Promote through communication, energize your class, Relax a little and be flexible with the schedule, HAVE FUN

Also, Remind them to push their chairs in when leaving the room.
3. Report Cards- In light of budget constraints, color copies are not a viable option. Therefore, schools will print report cards in black and white.

Employee dependents over the age of 10 years can receive the flu shot, however, they must be covered by the employees' health insurance,
