Hello Mustang Nation,

A special thank you to our student population and their efforts to perform with the NWEA state assessments. We will be concluding our testing with makeups throughout this week to finish our Fall assessment window. Students will be called down to the main office to complete their testing.

We are excited to welcome nearly 60 organizations and businesses this Wednesday, October 23 at our Annual Career Fair organized by our Career & College Readiness staff group. A special thank-you to Mrs. Stephenson for leading the way for this wonderful event.

Wednesday, October 23 is also an Early Release Day with dismissal beginning at 12:00 pm.

Our first Progress Reporting period will end this Friday, October 25 - this is a snapshot in time of student achievement and also marks just about the midway of the 1st semester. We will communicate with students and families when the reports are ready and posted.

As a reminder, our upcoming week will follow the Green/White color rotation schedule below.

Monday 10/21 - WHITE

Congratulations to our Golf team for garnering the Class A South Sportsmanship Award. Pictured below are Coach Scott Carbone and Junior Emmett Carroll.

This coming Saturday, October 26 the Sanford/Massabesic Marching Band will be hosting the finals of the MBDA season. Many students from MHS have been working since August to put together their show entitled 'Beacon'. We have several seniors who will be going for their third consecutive and final Gold Medal of their high school careers. The Marching Band performs at 5:45 p.m. sharp, but the entire show begins at 5:00 pm and will end around 7:25 pm.
