DCIS Peek of the Week
May 12 - May 16, 2025
Parent Square
Over the summer, Deer Creek is transitioning communication platforms to ParentSquare, a platform that allows seamless two-way communication between staff, parents/guardians and students. ParentSquare will be replacing School Messenger, and will be used for classroom, school and district mass communication.
We will officially roll out ParentSquare district-wide in July. Be on the lookout for information about how to register your account at that point. In the meantime, make sure your contact information is accurate in Infinite Campus to ensure you have no issues when the transition happens.

Chromebook Chargers
Each student was issued a charging cord at the same time they checked out their Chromebook for the year. Students must turn in a charging cord with their Chromebook at the end of the year. Chromebooks and chargers will be turned in NEXT FRIDAY, MAY 16.
Please check with your student to make sure he/she still has a charging cord and that they are charging their Chromebook every evening. Replacement cords can be purchased in the school library or CLICK HERE. If students do not turn in a charger with their device, they will automatically be issued a fine for $25.

How to pay for a Lost Badge
If a student has lost a Badge, the student will be told verbally for two days that they need to purchase a new badge. After two days an email is sent to the campus who will contact the parent that the badge needs to be paid for or the student will not be authorized to ride home on the bus. A notification will also be sent to the parent through the 360 app.
Once payment has been received, the new badge is created and given to the driver who is also then notified so that the student isn’t penalized during the process.
- Steps for Payment:
- Visit MySchoolBucks.com
- Register or sign in and add your students using school name/ID
- Once logged in Select "Replacement Bus Badge" from online store
- Go to your cart to complete the checkout process
- Retain a copy for your student to show the bus driver until the badge is printed and given to the driver to give to the student.
