Welcome Back from Mrs. Smith, Principal
Welcoming back our Gator students is always an exciting and heartwarming experience. The start of a new school year brings with it a fresh sense of possibility and adventure. Classrooms are adorned with colorful decorations, and the smell of new school supplies fills the air. Teachers and staff work tirelessly to create a nurturing and engaging environment where young minds can flourish. The first day back is often filled with smiles, as students reunite with friends, meet their new teachers, and embark on the journey of learning new things.
For many students, returning to school also means adjusting to new routines and rekindling the habits that help them succeed. It's a time to set goals and build a strong foundation for the year ahead. Teachers play a crucial role in this transition, providing support and encouragement every step of the way. They introduce new concepts in a fun and interactive manner, making sure that each child feels included and valued. From reading and writing to science experiments and art projects, the variety of activities ensures that every student finds something they are passionate about.
Parents also play an essential role during this period of adjustment. Their involvement and encouragement can make a significant difference in a child's attitude towards school. Whether it's packing a nutritious lunch, helping with homework, or simply asking about their day, these small actions show children that their education is important and valued. Together, teachers, parents, and students form a supportive community that fosters growth, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. As the new school year begins, it's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joys of education and the bright futures that lie ahead.
Growing Better Together,
Mrs. Smith

NEW Conroe ISD Parent Portal
Parents/Guardians:
We are looking forward to a great school year. In an effort to help our parents, we are moving to a Parent Portal for parents to access information about their child. You will login similar to the way your child does for school (similar to the SSO) to access school information. All parents/guardians will need to enroll to create an account. You will need the email address that is in your child’s record. Once you enter the email, you will be prompted to create a password.
Please click Parent Portal Directions to for instructions or go to Conroe ISD Webpage then Parents/Students to access the link to the Parent Portal.
The Parent Portal is a free program available to all CISD parent/guardians that allows viewing of helpful information regarding student attendance, report cards, progress reports, daily grades, state test results, Students Achieving Excellence (SAE), discipline, available lunch money and more. Parents may also sign up to receive an email alert when an assignment score is inputted or updated.
We hope that you enjoy this transition to a new and convenient platform.
Sincerely,
Conroe ISD Technology

Ride the Bus!
The First Day... August 14, 2024
Our first day of school is quickly approaching! We cannot wait to have our Gators back in our classrooms! We will not be counting tardies the first day of school.
Please use the crosswalks as the first day is a busy day. Please drive slowly throughout the parking lot. If you are parking to walk your child inside, use the parking spaces between the school and the church.
We know some of our Gators may need extra help getting to their classrooms the first day of school. One parent will be allowed to walk their child to class on the first day of school to help ease this process. Please drop your child off at the classroom door and your teacher will welcome them into the classroom and get them settled. Beginning on the 2nd day of school parents will no longer be able to walk their students to class.
We also encourage you to utilize the bus service if you live outside the one-mile perimeter of the school.
Doors open daily at 7:30 AM. Our official school time will be 8:00 to 3:10. The tardy bell will ring at 8:00 and dismissal will begin at 3:10.
First Day Dismissal
- We will start dismissal 20 minutes early at 2:50 PM on the first day of school.
- The car rider line is usually very long the first few days of school, please be patient.
- After the first few days of school the car line is usually completed by 3:30 PM and tends to go pretty quickly even though the line appears long.
- We encourage bus service for those living outside one mile of the campus.
- Scroll down for more detailed car rider information including where to line up and where to place green car sign.
