I look forward to building strong partnerships within our school community and am grateful for the opportunity.”

Lakeville 6th Graders learn about Fire Safety
Last week, 6th graders at Century, Kenwood Trail and McGuire middle schools learned about kitchen fires and how to prevent and respond to them from members of the Lakeville Fire Department. Students had the opportunity to practice using a fire extinguisher through a fire extinguisher simulation. A key takeaway for students was the statement, "When in doubt, just get out!" Students walked away from the experience with the confidence of the steps to take should a fire occur.
