NEW BOOK CLUB: Recommenders Club

Not interested in a book club where everyone reads the same book? Try our new monthly Recommenders Club and talk about whatever you’ve been reading or watching lately. No assigned readings; just show up ready to chat with other recommenders about books, movies, and TV shows. Hear from others about what they’ve enjoyed recently and get a sneak preview from the Adult Services Librarian about new items coming soon to your library.

Tween Craft: Tie-Dye Snowflakes

Tween Craft: ages 10-14

Make a cool tie-dye snowflake using coffee filters, markers, and water! Registration is required.

January Guess the Character Contest - Begins Jan 6!

Check out the mystery story book character's shadow in the Children's Room and see if you can guess which character it is! A winner will be chosen out of all of the correct guesses on January 24.

January Book Clubs

Drop in on one of our four book clubs for adults this month. Two focus on fiction, one reads nonfiction, and our newest addition--The Recommenders Club--is a place to talk about whatever you happen to be reading.

Short Fiction Workshop

This new, twice-monthly writing workshop for adults features writing prompts, exercises, and moderated feedback sessions where authors working on short fiction can practice their craft, develop new skills, and get constructive input from other writers.

This is a hybrid program: you can participate in-person at the library OR online via Zoom. To receive an email with the Zoom meeting link, register in advance.

Library Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting

Meetings of the Library Board of Trustees are usually held the last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM. The public is always welcome to attend.
