Parent Stakeholder Meetings
Due to the weather closure last Tuesday, the Parent Stakeholder meetings for Panola have been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 30th. Please come to campus to connect with other parents, and hear important information from district and campus leaders!
Please attend one of the sessions: 5-5:30 p.m. or 5:45 -6:15 p.m.

REMINDERS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
First Semester Report Cards
Monday, January 22 is the start of the 4th Six Weeks and 2nd semester for students.
Report cards for the 1st semester will be posted to Skyward at the end of the school day on Monday, January 22. As we have reached the midpoint of the school year, students will be reviewing their year to date performance with their teachers and working on goals for their end of year performance. If needed, students will be invited to after-school tutoring and Saturday school reviews to improve their understanding of important skills. If you have questions regarding your child's performance as always you can contact classroom teachers via ParentSquare or direct email.
Arrival / Dismissal
Parents please be mindful of your speed while dropping off and picking up students. Unless directed by staff, please do not pull out and attempt to pass other cars in the pick up/drop off lane. There are situations where students are entering/exiting on both sides of a vehicle. We want to ensure all students are safe so please slow down and be patient - the line will move.
As a reminder, there is no parking or drop-off along Rand or Panola streets. If you need to come to the Front Office, please park in the parking lots.
Testing
The last week in February and first week in March, we will be conducting STAAR practice tests, referred to as STAAR Interims. Please ensure your child is on-time so that they can do their best. We ask for your help to please limit appointments, tardies, and early releases on those days.
Dress Code Expectations
As students have returned to school from the winter break, we have seen increased dress code violations. Please assist us in making sure your child is following all dress code expectations. Repeated violations may result in consequences such as school detentions with parents and in-school and out-of-school suspensions. I have attached the Dress Code Policy for you to review with your children.
