Dear Tully Families,

As we welcome December, I want to take a moment to reflect on last month's events and share some important updates with you.

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Turkey Trot. It was great to see our students come together, and I am thrilled to announce that we had 100% participation in the race! Congratulations to our top three girl and boy turkeys in each grade-level for their outstanding performances. Your enthusiasm and spirit truly made this event a memorable one.

This week marks the beginning of our benchmark testing. I encourage you to check Class Dojo regularly for important announcements and updates from our teachers during this testing period. Your support at home is invaluable as we strive for academic excellence.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to all who participated in the Walk and Bike to School initiative last month. Your commitment to promoting healthy habits and environmental awareness is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to all the winners!

Lastly, we are excited to invite you to our Winter Carnival on December 13th! It promises to be a fun-filled evening with activities for the whole family. We hope to see you there!

Tips For Registration

• Your Parent Vue Accounts will be open for registration on Monday November 4th Parents/Guardians
• Make sure when you open your account you click on the school year 2025-2026
• If you cant remember your Password or don’t have a computer or would like us to help you, come on into our office and we will be glad to help you-or we can help you over the phone.
• You need a new proof of address -- So please attach it to your child’s registration or email the proof of address and I will attach it for you. Susan.ramirez@tusd1.org

The weather has been so crazy, cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. Which means we have a LOT of sweatshirts and jackets left behind (with no names!). If you are missing items, they are probably here. We posted a video of all the items on Class DoJo on 12/5. We will be taking these items to the TUSD clothing bank on December 19th.

As fall approaches, the sun sets earlier each day, bringing us closer to the Northern Hemisphere's winter solstice on December 21st, the shortest day and longest night of the year. Here at Tully, our students have been busy planting seeds for Tucson's cooler months, including snap peas, carrots, fava beans, and kale.

As neighbors begin to display festive holiday lights, we are reminded of the bright lights here at Tully – our wonderful students! A special shoutout goes to our Fabulous Flowers, who have been learning about photosynthesis and pollinators while diligently caring for our butterfly garden.
