Principal's Corner
Dear Carberry Families,
September has been a busy and exciting month at Carberry, and I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible support of our PTO and student council.
First and foremost, I’m so impressed with the work of our PTO in getting the playground drainage project completed. Thanks to their dedication, our students will be able to enjoy the swings and playground more, even when the rain comes! I’m also thrilled to share that our student council took on the task of painting a new U.S. map outside, and they did a fantastic job bringing this project to life. It’s wonderful to see their pride in making our school an even better place.
Homecoming was another highlight of September. For the first time, our very own student council joined the high school students in the parade, and they represented Carberry with so much energy and enthusiasm! It was a proud moment for all of us.
As we look ahead, students have been working very hard this quarter, and parent-teacher conferences are coming up next week on Thursday and Friday, October 10th and 11th. This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers and discuss the progress your child has made.
And don’t forget—at the end of October, we’ll be hosting our annual Trunk or Treat event in the East parking lot! The PTO is allowing 30 decorated cars for students to visit, so please consider signing up to join in on the Halloween fun. Students will dress up after lunch, and it’s sure to be a spook-tacular time!
Thank you for all your continued support and for being part of our wonderful Carberry community.
Sincerely,
Mr. Alexander
Principal, Carberry Elementary
