ROBOT ADVENTURES - HAPPENING THROUGH MARCH
As seen in the below video, robots at City school are suffering from winter boredom. They had so much fun during the month of code in December but now are tucked away in their boxes awaiting adventure. What does this have to do with you? Your class can help give the robots a vacation. Simply let the STEAM team know which robot you want and when! We will deliver the robots to you-- ready to go!
https://www.wevideo.com/view/3328938796
AND as an incentive....the class that gives the robot the best vacation will win a robot for their classroom! (contest goes through the end of March)
Not sure which robot to choose? Our makerspace website lists all the robots we have (as well as the quantity) and has a video showing how they work with each one, as well as details on ease of use OR just reach out and we can help match your class with an appropriate robot. Here is the link to the robot website:

EXPLORING OUR SOLAR SYSTEM
Five billion years ago, a starship passing through our region of space would not have slowed down for a second look. There was nothing to see. No Earth, no sun, no solar system. Nothing but a huge tenuous cloud of gas.
Now, as the result of billions of years of evolution, and centuries of scientific research, we can chart our way through the solar system . . . with Sally Ride as our navigator. Starting from the sun and working outward, Sally Ride and Tam O’Shaughnessy take readers on a tour of the nine planets and explain the formation, current conditions, and possibility of life on each.
