Your Weekly Update from Memorial Elementary School
Principal's Message
Dear Families and Caregivers:
As we step into the vibrant month of May, I wanted to touch base with you on some important updates and exciting news here at Memorial Elementary.
Firstly, we find ourselves gearing up for another round of MCAS testing. While this period can be intense, rest assured that our dedicated staff is committed to ensuring our students feel supported and prepared throughout the process. We appreciate your continued encouragement and involvement in your child's education during this time.
As the school year begins to wind down, our schedules tend to fill up quickly with various activities and preparations. From wrapping up current curriculum to laying the groundwork for the upcoming school year, our days are bustling with energy and anticipation.
I'm thrilled to share that we have some new additions to our Memorial family! This week, we have the pleasure of welcoming our incoming Kindergarten families and the future scholars of the class of 2037 for an orientation session. It's always heartwarming to witness new faces joining our community, and we look forward to nurturing and guiding these young minds in their educational journey.
Additionally, I'm delighted to announce the arrival of Jefferson Wood from Johnson Elementary. Jefferson will be joining our esteemed 4th-grade team of educators next year, bringing with him a wealth of experience and passion for teaching. We extend a warm welcome to Jefferson and are excited to have him on board to enrich the learning experiences of our students.
As we navigate through the remaining weeks of the school year, I want to express my gratitude for your ongoing support and collaboration. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our students and foster a thriving learning environment here at Memorial.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you'd like to share. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive for continuous improvement.
Wishing you all a wonderful month ahead filled with joy, growth, and memorable moments.
Warm regards,
Troy
