Linder Monthly Express
OCTOBER 2024
Message from Principal Estep
Dear Linder Families,
Can you believe we are already in October? It’s my favorite month of the year! My daughter turns 21, my son turns 26, my mother turns 77, and I celebrate 26 wonderful years of marriage! As you can imagine, it's a busy, busy time for me.
This is also a critical time for our students. Routines have been established, strong relationships with teachers are being built, and we’ve finished the Beginning of the Year assessments. I kindly ask that you only keep your child home if they are running a fever. Stomach aches, headaches, or tears are not reasons to miss valuable learning time.
Please review all the important information below, and feel free to contact the front office with any questions or concerns. I’m here to support you and your child!
- Warmly, Patti Estep, Linder ES Interim Principal 🦅

#2: 😎 Great Moments from Hispanic Heritage Month and DOT DAY!🚀
We had a fantastic start to Hispanic Heritage Month with a staff potluck and everyone dressed in traditional Hispanic cultural attire—what a beautiful celebration of our diverse backgrounds!
We also had so much fun celebrating DOT DAY, a day that encourages everyone to tap into their creativity. There's an artist in each of us, and we certainly saw that shine through!

#8: Donors Choose
DonorsChoose is a website where teachers can post classroom project requests, and individuals or businesses can choose to fund them. Linder teachers may use DonorsChoose to ask for resources like books, technology, or supplies to enrich student learning experiences. By contributing, parents can directly support their child’s classroom needs and help provide students with the materials necessary to succeed, especially in areas where school budgets may not fully cover expenses. Every donation makes a tangible difference in improving students' education at Linder!
