DCSC Construction Update

We are within two weeks of Warrior Way closing for the next 18 months. We wanted to share with you the attached maps (see below) that show the traffic pattern at the high school for arrival and dismissal beginning on April 1, 2024.

What the colors on the maps mean:

• Orange - the bus route
• Green - the student route
• Blue - the parent/guardian route
• Red - fencing
• Yellow - temporary access to the loading dock and door 9 for special education students.

It is always so cool when framing turns into real, fully shaped spaces. That's exactly what we are seeing in the front office at South Elementary! The drywall and tiling work continues, and the results are incredible so far.

Last time we checked in, the back of the building was beginning to take shape internally, which means that the rooms were being formed! Drywall, framing, and duct work continues in this area, and the large open spaces are now being dividing into individual classrooms.

Below is our tentative phasing timeline for DCHS. Please note that this is subject to change.

Change is on its way to DCHS! Below are a series of photos that showcase our plans for this building. We plan to break ground at the school this spring, with a lot of work happening over the summer when students are not in school.
