OUR MISSION STATEMENT
What's Happening This Week?
Happy Sunday! Throughout the year we have celebrated our different groups of staff and this week we will celebrate our teachers, paras, and tutors. Thank you for all the donations and help to make this a special week for our staff. Encourage your student to tell their teachers thank you for a great year. OUr 3rd and 4th graders will finish their LEAP testing this week. Students have been doing a
great job with testing and we are so excited to see the results of their hard work all year. LEAP scores will not be available until next school year. For our 5th graders, they will get their scores from the junior high. Be sure to watch our FB page for posts about our Celebration of Excellence for LEAP awards next year so 5th graders can come back and celebrate their successes. Our 3rd graders who have not made the required DIBELS score will have 1 more chance to test before school ends. We will continue working with them until we do their last test. All decisons about promotions and retentions will be decided once grades are finalized. Retention notices will be sent home with students. If your student has missed more than 10 excused absences, turn in doctor's notes this week to be sure their absences are under the limit. Be sure to note the important dates for Pre-K, K and 5th grade Closing Ceremonies and 5th grade DARE graduation. Other grades do not have end of the year programs. Important information about the Pre-K, K, and 5th grade ceremonies is below. Thank you for your partnership in helping our Broncos to learn and grow. It's going to be a great week to be a Bronco!

CAR POOL HELP NEEDED...
Car pool parents, there are chunks of time during car pool when we have no cars to unload. Then at the 8:00 bell, cars pull up and we can't unload after the bell. We have to end at the bell-if we keep unloading, cars keep coming and then teachers and staff are late to class. Please watch your time-if you are not able to get here AND unload before the bell at 8:00, please get here earlier or send your child on the bus. Students arriving late will need to be walked inside the office and signed in on their check in/out card. Please do not send students to walk behind buses as that's dangerous and students must be walked into the office when they are late. Thank you for your cooperation to keep students safe.
We really need your help parents! We have so many parents in car line that it's causing issues. If you get here BEFORE we start unloading, the line is backing up to the road and that's not safe. If you get here and the line is already to the turn, PLEASE pull up and don't leave any gaps. If you see a bus needing to get out, please yield to the bus so they can get out otherwise you can pull up and you DO NOT have to keep those gaps open. Please, please don't get here before 7:00. You need to arrive between 7 and be here before 8:00. If you arrive right at the bell, the duty teachers have to get to their classes. They can't stay there because the line just gets bigger and bigger after the bell. We know this can be frustrating but need you to understand that there has to be an end or they'd never get to their class. If you want to start your child on the bus, call and we can help get that started. THANK YOU for your cooperation and assistance.
