Seniors you must turn in your chrome book by Noon on May 14, 2025. If you do NOT turn in your chrome book you will be charged.
Do you have a graduating senior? Did you know they have the opportunity to keep their Chromebook? If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please read the "How to Accept the Senior Device Request" article on the technology department blog. You may also want to help your student transfer any files or data they want to keep before their account is deleted. Please read the "Google Takeout" article to learn how to do this. If you do not wish to keep your TSD chromebook, please return the chromebook and charger to the library by 12pm on May 14th to avoid a $160 fine. If you have questions about either process, please call the TSD Help Desk at 970-613-7777. You may also reach out to Amy Gebhardt or Jennifer Bass with any questions.
CHROMEBOOKS
Dear graduating students and parents/guardians,
Congratulations on your achievement of graduating from high school! In recognition of your accomplishment, graduating students will be allowed to keep their Tech4All district-issued Chromebooks (blue stickers only).
Strive 2025 aims to support students’ future success by ensuring digital access and equity. Keeping these devices will help graduates as they transition to higher education, enter the workforce, or pursue other opportunities, providing them with essential digital tools.
Devices not claimed by students will be repurposed within the district for repairs, as loaners, or other uses as determined by the district.
How to Claim Your Chromebook:
Check Eligibility: Ensure there are no fines or fees on your student account in Infinite Campus. Fees and fines must be paid before eligibility will begin.
Submit a Request: Follow the process on this website to claim your chromebook. This form will be open from November 4th through May 23rd.
Finalize the Process: When the form has been processed, sign into the device with a personal Google account. Forms will be processed for:

Graduation Cap Decorations
Graduating Seniors: Class of 2025
We know you're excited to celebrate your upcoming graduation, and we're thrilled to offer you the opportunity to personalize your graduation caps! Decorating your cap is a fantastic way to express your individuality and commemorate your achievements.
To ensure a respectful and unified ceremony, we've put together some guidelines that adhere to all school and district policies:
Permitted Decorations:
Positive and Inspirational Messages: Quotes, affirmations, and messages of encouragement are welcome.
School Colors and Logos: Show your school spirit!
Academic Achievements: You may include symbols or messages representing your major, clubs, or honors.
Artistic Designs: Creative and tasteful artwork is encouraged.
Flat Decorations: Embellishments must be flat and securely attached. No items that protrude excessively or could fall off during the ceremony.
Materials: Use materials such as paint, glitter, fabric, paper, and adhesive that are secure and will not damage the cap.
Prohibited Decorations:
Offensive or Inappropriate Content: This includes profanity, vulgarity, drug or alcohol references, discriminatory language, or anything that could be deemed offensive.
Political or Controversial Statements: We aim to maintain a neutral and inclusive environment.
Large or Obstructive Decorations: Nothing that will block the view of others or interfere with the ceremony.
Sound-Making Devices: No noisemakers, bells, or anything that will disrupt the ceremony.
Lighting or Electronic Devices: No flashing lights, LEDs, or other electronic elements.
Items that could fall off: We want to keep the stage and floors clear during the ceremony.
Commercial Advertisements: No business logos or advertisements.
Anything that violates the school dress code.
Important Reminders:
All decorated caps will be subject to review by school administration prior to the ceremony. Any caps that are deemed inappropriate will be replaced before the ceremony.
Please be respectful of the significance of the graduation ceremony and ensure your decorations reflect that.
If you are unsure whether a decoration is appropriate, please consult with a member of the MVHS administration before proceeding.
All decorations must be completed before the day of the ceremony.
We believe these guidelines will allow you to express your creativity while maintaining the dignity and order of our graduation ceremony. We are looking forward to celebrating your accomplishments!
Code of Conduct
Participation in the commencement ceremony is voluntary and a privilege. If you choose to participate in the ceremony, you are expected to abide by all the requirements outlined here. The honor of participating in graduation is a culminating celebration of your hard work and ambition. Our hope is that each graduate recognizes the gravity of their actions and doesn't risk losing their opportunity to join their classmates on May 24th.
Senior pranks of any kind are strictly prohibited, regardless of the intent or nature. Any student who is involved in any senior pranks from now until graduation will lose their privilege of participating in the ceremony, and their diploma will be mailed to their primary address in Infinite Campus.
Students are expected to act appropriately in accordance with school policy.
Students and families are asked to maintain the dignity of the ceremony out of respect for all who attend. Major disruptions may result in cessation of the remainder of the ceremony.
All school procedures and policies will be in effect throughout the graduation ceremony.
Dress Code for Graduation
We expect that graduates take the opportunity to celebrate this important achievement by dressing appropriately. Students should wear clothes and shoes that are both comfortable and appropriate, in line with a dress code that aims to show respect for the graduation ceremony.
The tassel should be worn over the right temple, just to the right of the eye.
GRADUATION DAY
There is no limit on the number of guests and no need to purchase tickets.
