Parent Teacher Group Fundraiser
From our PTG:
Drachman Montessori Magnet School PTG's fundraiser started Thursday, and we need your help. Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 to support teachers and students.
With your help, we will be raising funds to support teachers and students. We are excited to offer our families Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough and more this fall. Stock up for the holidays. We are asking every student to REGISTER & SHARE with 5 or more supporters to reach our group goal! We are counting on these funds for the benefit of every child. This funding does not come from other sources so your participation, at any level, is critical. Thank you for your support!
It's as simple as 1, 2, 3!
1. Register at ShopFund right away.
2. Share custom student support links with family & friends.
3. Student Goal: 5 Online Supporters.
REGISTER-SHARE-WIN: Sharing gets you tickets for chances to win over $100,000 in instant prizes.
Photo & Yearbook Permissions
Families who opted out of some permissions at registration should have received a yellow permission slip asking about permission for listing your student's name for Dragon of the Month, including pictures with them on our social media and website, and including their name and picture in the yearbook. If you have any questions about this form, please email Wendy Weeks, Magnet Coordinator.
We appreciate you returning these forms as soon as possible!

Consent Needed for Free Dental Sealants for 2nd & 6th Graders
Parents of 2nd and 6th Graders: We have a great opportunity for your child to get free dental sealants through our school, thanks to Pima County Health Department.
What are Dental Sealants?
Dental sealants are protective coatings put on the chewing surfaces of the back, adult teeth (molars) to prevent cavities. They are safe and very effective.
Benefits of Dental Sealants:
Prevent Cavities: They protect teeth from cavity causing germs.
Quick and Easy: The application only takes about 15 minutes.
Effective: 80% of cavities can be prevented with sealants. Children without sealants have almost 3x as many cavities as those with sealants.
Free: This program saves you money and helps keep your child’s teeth healthy.
Time Saving: This service provided at school, minimizing the time out of the classroom and eliminate parent’s need to take time off work.
To get this free service for your child, we need your permission. Please fill out and sign the Dental Sealant Consent Form by September 9 so the Pima County Health Department Dental Sealant team can schedule their visit to Drachman. They will be returning to the school to provide this service to students once consent forms are received.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to protect your child’s teeth! If you have any questions, feel free to email the Pima County Health Department Dental Sealant team or call them at 520-724-7902.
Thank you for helping us keep your child’s teeth healthy!
