Harvey Makes History as Rocks Golf Win State Championship
It was an exciting end to a stunning season! The Rocks finished at Prairie View with a team score of 568, setting a new record for a 36-hole score at the state tournament. This marks Westfield’s fourth state title in boys golf, following three consecutive runner-up finishes.
Senior Will Harvey made history by earning Westfield’s first-ever individual state title in boys golf. He was also honored with the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award, recognizing his leadership, character, and athletic excellence throughout his high school career.
Congratulations to all the players for their incredible dedication this season, and to Coach Bryant for his leadership and commitment to the team. Way to go, Rocks!
Freshman Named State Runner-Up, Lady Rocks Make it to Semifinals
Last weekend was an unforgettable one for WHS freshman Alexandra Grilliot. Competing in the State Finals, Alexandra faced off against Warren Central’s Samaya Smith in a hard-fought match. After taking the first set, she ultimately finished as the Indiana Girls’ Tennis State Runner-Up with a final score of 6-2, 2-6, 2-6. The semifinal field featured only undefeated players, making her run even more impressive. Alexandra concluded her standout season with a remarkable 29–1 record and was named the Hoosier Crossroads Conference Athlete of the Year.
The Lady Rocks wrapped up their season with an impressive 22–2 record, advancing all the way to the State Semifinals. Way to fight, Rocks!

FCCLA Foodies Rock is a fully functioning foodservice operation that is student centered and fostered through the Westfield High School Culinary Arts program. Our members are highly trained in customer service, hospitality, culinary techniques, food safety and sanitation. Foodies Rock holds a Food Permit by the Hamilton County Board of Health, Advisors Nikki Heflin and Bryan Ferreira are ServSafe Manager certified, and will follow the National Restaurant Association’s Guidelines for food preparation. Chef Heflin and Chef Ferreira each have over 20 years of industry experience, and love guiding their students in making both the optics and cuisine for your event out of this world!
