Follow the steps below to complete the licensure process

Congratulations you have finally made it. Below you will find the instructions to download your official UNCG transcript and the steps to access and complete the licensure process through DPI.
Make sure you have the following items before beginning the licensure application process:
- Electronic PDF of your Official UNCG Transcript (See instructions below for how to access)
- Complete coursework for 077 licensure
Step 1- Complete the LIS Exit Survey
Congratulations on completing the program. Please take a moment to complete the LIS Exit Survey. The University and LIS Department use the data from this survey to ensure we are updating and maintaining a quality program. Your input is valuable to us.
Step 2- How to Order Your Official UNCG Transcript

Step 3- Upload your final portfolio
Upload your Capstone/Hallmark final portfolio to this form and Email Tammy to let her know it has been completed.

- Home Page- Introduce yourself and your vision use Images
- Current Resume/CV
- Professional Development Plan-What are your 5-year goals
- Transcript-You won't have this until after graduation. Create a place for it in your portfolio and upload once your final "Degree Awarded" transcript is official (will be a few weeks after graduation)
- ISTE Standards- Artifacts to support the AASL Standards for the Initial preparation of school librarians
- PLO Reflection
- Contact information
Step 4- DPI Licensure Portal

Remember after graduation we want to keep in touch. There are several ways to do this:
- Share your non-UNCG email address so we can remind you of alumni events and add you to the LIS listserv to get updated information about the department events and job postings.
- Obtain your UNCG Alumni email account
- Follow us on social media. Add UNCG LIS and Alumni to your PLN and stay active. (connect below)
