Greetings TEAM Colleton,

As we near the end of the 3rd quarter, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible work each and every one of you do to support our students, families, and community. Together, we have accomplished so much, and great things are happening in our schools every day. Your dedication and commitment to excellence in education are inspiring. As we continue to focus on teaching and learning, remember that student success remains our top priority. Let's keep our efforts aligned with this goal, ensuring we provide the best learning experiences for all of our students.

I encourage each of you to continue building and strengthening positive relationships with our students and their families. These connections are critical, not just for academic growth, but for fostering a sense of belonging and support.

Great customer service is at the heart of what we do, and it truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. Together, we are creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

BES' BEARBOTS Robotic Team

BES' BEARBOTS Robotic Team in Action!

BES' BEARBOTS' Hard work pays off!!

Well you guys, BES' robotics came to an end Saturday, February 8, 2025, as the BES' Bearbots did not advance to the FLL state robotics competition. However, we are EXTREMELY proud of the BearBots. This group of kids showed fantastic teamwork and were the definition Core Values, as it pertains to FLL. They also had an amazing, well-researched innovation project & iterated it flawlessly. Furthermore, they have also impressed their coaches and mentor (Ms. Kawaii Elliott, Mrs. Kadeana Swaby Scribner, and Mrs. Phyllis Murdaugh) beyond measures this season! So, if you see a BearBot, congratulate them on an amazing season! They represented Colleton County School District - CCSD well! We love them!

What an incredible day for our Colleton County JAG students! A visit to the State House in Columbia—with an opportunity to meet Governor McMaster, be introduced on the House floor, and enjoy a detailed tour paired with a history lesson that offered an unparalleled glimpse into the works of state government and civic life.

Such an immersive experience not only deepens their understanding of the legal and governmental processes but also inspires them to continue making an impact in their future careers.

Moments like these truly embody what it means to be part of a community that values civic engagement and public service. Congratulations to the Colleton County JAG students on this unforgettable journey—#MakingHistory indeed!
