As a tribute to AMS Principal Scott Gibson, Argyle ISD is launching the Soaring Hearts program. It is an initiative aimed at supporting students and families in need that are right here in our community. Inspired by Mr. Gibson's giving and compassionate spirit, the program will run as an ongoing monthly donation drive, embracing his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students.
Starting this month, the Soaring Hearts program launches with a Hoodie Haul, collecting brand new hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters and jackets during the month of February to distribute to our Eagles in need. Each month will continue with a different donation item or theme.
Collection boxes are located at each campus in the front entrance vestibule. Please consider supporting this program, embracing our community's commitment to supporting its own, and honoring Scott Gibson's legacy by showing that our community's heart continues to soar.

Deadline Today: Register To Vote
Today is the last day to register to vote in the Texas primary elections.
The March 5 Texas primary elections are fast approaching. This gives all of us a critical opportunity to decide who will be on the ballot in November. Our state and local elections have a direct impact on our lives and our community. When you register to vote in Texas, you do not register as a member of one party or another. Instead, Texas has an open primary, which means any registered voter can choose to vote in either party’s primary election — regardless of any party-affiliated votes in the past.
Did you know only 18 percent of registered Texas voters participated in our state’s last primary, which was in March 2022? That indicates most voters do not participate in these often-decisive elections. If you are not registered to vote, you still have time before the March primaries! Please register to vote by the February 5 deadline.
Key dates include:
Early Voting for the March primaries: February 20 through March 1
March 5 - Election Day for March primaries
Should runoff elections be necessary, please continue to exercise your right to vote! Data shows voter turnout in runoff elections is typically even lower than in primaries.
You can register to vote or learn more about how and where to vote at votetexas.gov. Please take the time to exercise your right to vote. Voting is one of the best ways to directly impact the future of our state, our community, and our public schools!
