About this Workshop...
Discover the exciting world of VEX Robotics in this hands-on workshop designed for K-12 educators, administrators, and STUDENTS. Learn how to get started with VEX Robotics in your school, explore the basics of VEX GO, IQ, and VRC systems, and integrate robotics seamlessly into existing core curriculum and courses. Administrators and educators will gain insights into supporting robotics initiatives to foster 21st-century skills across schools and districts. Students will cultivate a passion for problem-solving, engineering, computer science, and learning while gaining valuable skills in collaboration and communication. Unleash creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through engaging robotics experiences.
Objectives:
- Equip ALL participants with the foundational knowledge to get started with VEX Robotics in their school.
- Demonstrate practical strategies for integrating VEX Robotics into core curriculum areas such as math, science, and language arts.
- Provide administrators and educators with actionable steps to support and sustain robotics programs that inspire innovation and collaboration.
