Dear Lafayette Elementary Community,
We hope you enjoyed a snowy weekend! Megan volunteered at Centaurus on Saturday, helping keep score at their basketball games, and then Sunday relaxed with friends and watched the Grammys. She also had a great time reminding her dog it is ok to go potty when it’s snowing. Robin had a fun weekend hosting sleepovers, cheering on hockey teams and making a delicious broccoli and cheese soup.
It’s the last week for our annual read-a-thon--What’s Cooking? Thanks to our PTO for coming up with an amazing event and fundraiser to get kids reading. Please enjoy our video! LINK
Parent Teacher conferences sign-ups will be sent to the emails parents have listed on Infinite Campus on Friday. The invitations will come through a Help at Schools email link. We are so excited to connect with families this month and are hoping for 100% of parents to have an opportunity to meet with teachers and counseling staff. If you do not see a time available that works for your family, please reach out to your child’s teacher individually- we will make it work!
CT came out of the cave to kick off kindness month! Our kindergarten will be leading random acts of kindness all month.
