A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL ROBERTSON
Hello Barnsley families!
I am thankful last week's snow storm did not end up visiting our area. It is hard to believe we are starting our last week of February. Friday, February 28th marks the halfway point of our third marking period. This is a reminder that there is an early dismissal on Friday for teachers to finalize interim grades. Student dismissal will begin at 1:20 p.m. Please see information below for upcoming LVBES events and celebrations! Have a wonderful week of learning!
Sincerely,
Ms. Robertson

Read Across America Week Guest Readers
March 3-7 is Read Across America Week, and we will be celebrating at Barnsley in a variety of ways! One of the ways we'd like to celebrate reading is by bringing in families to be "Guest Readers" in classrooms. Each grade-level has selected some times where parents can come in and read a quick picture book to their child's class. If you would like to participate, please fill out the Google Form linked below. Please make sure to take the online volunteer training before coming in. If none of the times work for you, please e-mail our Reading Specialist Mrs. Sandler at Melissa_Ruben@mcpsmd.org so that we can find a time for you to come in.
