School Attendance
In the event that your child will be absent, late or dismissed early, please contact the school office at (401) 767-5906 by 9:00 am so our office staff can inform your child's teacher of their absence or end of day dismissal changes.
Get Ready for the GS Fall Fundraiser
Our Meadow Farms Fall Fundraiser kicks off this Friday, September 20 at 9:00 in the Good Shepherd Gym. Each student has received a packet containing information, selling tips, and catalogs filled with gifts, sweets, treats, and accessories available for purchase - perfect for early Christmas shopping. CHECK THOSE BACKPACKS! Group ID: 1030350 (order online and use this code)
We encourage families to create online seller profiles for each student to reach out to family and friends, near and far. Paper order forms are also included in the packet for those who prefer this method.
There will be LOTS of exciting prizes for all participants!

Happy Birthday!
The Good Shepherd PTO is proud to sponsor our "Birthday Book" program this school year. Every student will be able to receive a brand new book on their birthday, from Scholastic Books, donated by our PTO. These books are purchased using funds we raise during the Scholastic Book Fair. When their birthday is announced, they will have the opportunity to visit our book cart to select a brand new book of their choice! This not only fosters a love of reading but also creates lasting memories. The PTO is excited to make birthdays brighter - one book at a time!
Girls Scouts
Girl Scouts will begin on Wednesday, September 25th from 3pm - 4:30pm for grades Kindergarten though 3. Girls who are interested should return the permission slip to school and you will be contacted with more information. Thank you!
Open House
Families are cordially invited to Saint Raphael Academy’s open house, where they’ll have an opportunity to tour the campus and meet with staff, teachers, coaches, and other parents and students. Saint Raphael Academy (grades 9-12) nurtures students to become their best selves—academically, athletically, and spiritually. Students experience a unique combination of small class settings, college-style learning, and a supportive community, which shapes them into well-rounded, critical thinkers and doers. Ready to become a Saint? To learn more and pre-register for the open house visit saintrays.org.

You can reach Miss Sam at spoliquin@gwcrs.org and Miss Nakena at nkilgore@gwcrs.org

Rediker Access
Good Shepherd School uses an electronic informational system called Rediker that allows parents to access their child's grades throughout the school year from Kindergarten through grade 8. This online platform provides access to teacher emails and student grades in an effort to promote a clear communication tool for our families. We ask that parents click the blue link below to activate your account in order to receive access to this important school information platform.
Cellphone Policy
As a reminder for all students, cellphone use during school hours is prohibited. If students need to reach out to parents, they must go to the school office during break time to make the call.
Changes of dismissal should not be made through text messages during the day as it becomes a challenge during end of day dismissal.
All cellphones and Apple Watches should be kept in your child's backpack during the school day to avoid disruption during class time. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
