Counsellor's Corner
January 2024
Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2025! A new year brings fresh beginnings and exciting opportunities to grow, learn, and connect. Looking back on the past year, I am continually inspired by the determination, creativity, and compassion our students have demonstrated. Their positive attitudes and willingness to support one another help make our school a nurturing and dynamic place to grow and succeed. These qualities make our school a wonderful place to learn and thrive. The start of a new year is a perfect time to celebrate successes and set inspiring goals for the future. Let’s encourage our children to approach challenges with courage, positivity, and a growth mindset.
Mark Your Calendar!
Bell Let’s Talk Day is happening on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and breaking down stigma through open conversations. At school, we’ll be participating in activities focused on emotional well-being and building supportive connections. I encourage families to continue these conversations at home, helping children understand the importance of sharing feelings and seeking help when needed. Together, we can create a community where mental health is prioritized and everyone feels valued.
