24 - 25 Parent Newsletter - End of Year Message
Dear Golden Bear Families,
What an incredible way to close out our 40th year together at Temecula Valley High School. I want to sincerely thank you for your tremendous support of our students and staff. Your partnership, encouragement, and trust continue to make TVHS a place where young people feel valued, empowered, and inspired every day.
We ended the year on such a high note with a beautiful graduation ceremony that truly reflected the heart and pride of this community. I hope that moment of celebration reminded you, as it did us, of the strength and unity we share.
A special thank you to our wonderful PTSA, our booster clubs, and all of the many families who give so generously of their time, energy, and resources throughout the year. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference and strengthens every part of our school experience.
As we head into summer, whether your plans include rest and relaxation, travel, academic programs, or quality time with loved ones, I wish you a safe, enjoyable, and refreshing break.
We also take a moment to honor and thank several remarkable staff members who are retiring this year. Lt. Col. Good, our Senior Aerospace Instructor, is retiring after leading our AFJROTC program to achieve a perfect score on their annual inspection. Kathy O’Neil, our beloved Special Education teacher, has made a lasting impact through her dedication and care. Debbie Goodwin, our dedicated Special Education instructional assistant, has supported students with compassion and consistency. And Kenny Swearingin—affectionately known as Geepaw—one of our longest-serving and most cherished campus supervisors, leaves behind a legacy of kindness and connection. Each of these individuals has left an indelible mark on the TVHS community, and we are profoundly grateful for their years of service.
We also bid farewell to Mrs. Ziba Mayar, who is stepping into an administrative role, and to Mr. Brent Wozniak, who will now serve as Principal at Vail Ranch Middle School. We’re proud of all they’ve accomplished and wish them continued success.
Thank you once again for being such an important part of this school year. We know that great things lie ahead, and we look forward to another year of Golden Opportunities in 2025–26. It is a privilege to serve as your principal, and I am deeply grateful to be part of this extraordinary community.
Go Bears!
