Principals Message:
We hope this CHS Weekly message finds you enjoying summer and relaxing as we get closer to the start of the 2024-2025 School year. Centennial High School has been a busy place this summer with outstanding 9th-grade Counts, SUN, the CHS Credit Recovery Summer School program, the expansion of Little Eagle camps, summer athletics, reunions, and many construction projects.
As we return to school and continue our equity work, we look forward to ensuring that EVERY student has what they need so that ALL of our students are ready for the future. To support this goal, especially for our incoming 9th-grade students, we have several optional important dates coming up:
- CHS Freshman Tours (Optional): Thursday, August 22nd, from 1 to 3 PM. CHS Freshman Tours are for any of our Freshman students and families who would like a guided tour of Centennial High School to become familiar with the building before the start of school.
- Fall Sports Parent Night in CHS Autortiam - Tuesday, August 27th @ 6:30 PM. All CHS Student-athletes, Parents, and Families involved or interested in CHS Fall Sports are invited to our CHS Fall Sports Parent Night on Tuesday, August 27th, from 6:30-8 PM in the CHS Auditorium to learn more about Hilinski's Hope Foundation before the individual Fall Sports Team meetings. We will host a Parent Night before every sports season this year. We hope to see you there because it takes all of us to support our CHS Student-athletes.
- Freshman Orientation/10-12 Open House (Optional) - Tuesday, September 3rd, at 6:30 PM. We want to invite all incoming 9th-grade students and their families to attend CHS Freshman Orientation, which includes information for families, school tutors, food, and prizes. Our 10th- 12th-grade students can also turn in campus pass forms and parking pass forms during the Open House and, if approved, get these passes that night so you can have them on the first day of school.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks, it is going to be a great year! Remember, "Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle" at CHS!

If you forgot your username or password, click Existing Account Documentation for instructions. If you do not have an account, go to ParentVue Account Creation or contact your neighborhood school to obtain one.
As you may remember from last spring, there were several opportunities to choose and edit your classes for this year. We wish to begin this school year with a focus on being settled in classes and learning on Day One, and we are only allowing necessary schedule changes BEFORE school starts. So please review your schedule in StudentVue/ParentVue, and if you believe that there is a necessary change (for example, missing a core class), request for the change must be filled out this form CHS Schedule Change Request Form 2024-2025 (Fall). The form is set to open on 8/21 and close on 8/28. Counselors will only consider requests submitted this way (No emails, StudentVue messages, or phone calls). Students’ requests for changes to trimester one should be made on this form by August 28th. No schedule change requests that involve Trimester One classes will be allowed after August 28th.
