Followers are called Muslims
Muslims believe in the God of Abraham, who they call Allah. The common figure to, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam is Abraham. The Muslim Holy Book is called the Koran. Key Beliefs in Islam are prayer and the five pillars. The five pillars are Shahada, Salat, Zakat, and Siyam. Shahada is a public declaration of faith. Salat is prayer and Zakat is charity. Siyam is fasting. Practices and rituals of Islam are the five pillars and the annual Hajj. The annual Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in your life if you can afford it. Only Muslims are allowed into Mecca. At the annual Hajj Muslims circle around the Kaaba. The Kaaba is a cuboid box, it is the most sacred point within the most sacred mosque, making it the most sacred location in Islam. A mosque is the Muslim place of worship.

Mullah
A mullah is a Muslim worship leader. Mullahs are Islam teachers.
Symbol
The Islam symbol is a star and crescent.
Sacrament

The Qu'ran or Koran is the Islamic Holy Book.
Mecca
Mecca, Saudi Arabia is the Holy Islam city. It is Holy because it is where Muhammed was born.
Worship Leader, Sects, Holy Days, Holidays, Worship Days, and common Holy Site
The Islam Worship Leaders are Mullahs and Imams. Mullahs are teachers and Imams are prayer leaders. The Islam sects are; Sunni and Shia. Sunnis believe the government leader should not be a religious leaders. Shias believe the government leader should be a religious leader. Ramadan is the celebration of Allah giving Muhammed the message to spread Islam. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic moon calendar. When it is Ramadan their is a fast from sunrise to sunset. The annual Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca (holy city). Friday is the Islam worship day. On Friday Muslims pray at a Mosque. Common Holy Sites in Islam are Mecca and Jerusalem. Mecca, Saudi Arabia is where Muhammed was born. Jerusalem is where the Dome of the Rock is located. The Dome of the Rock is a shrine on the Temple Mount in the old city of Jerusalem.
