π¦CLUB SPOTLIGHT
π₯ Our Elementary School Clubs are ROCKING! π
Being in a club in elementary school fosters social skills, teamwork, and a sense of belonging, allowing students to make new friends while exploring their interests.
π Baker Elementary's REMOTE CONTROL CAR CLUBπͺπ§
Students in Mr. Warren's RC Car Club are learning how the principles of robotics, motors and engineering interconnect as they build their own remote control car.
π Furr Elementary's CHESS CLUB π
Ms. Ammons' Chess Club is learning the fundamentals of chess, enhancing their critical thinking and making new friends. There's a place for everyone, whether you're a beginner or have some experience.
πΉ Furr Elementary's BROADCAST TEAM π€
In this club, with Ms. Ammans, students are exploring the exciting world of news reporting and storytelling! They will learn how to conduct interviews, create fun video segments and share school events.

These performances will showcase the incredible talents of our students as they share the music they've been working hard on this semester.

Friday, October 18th at Children's Health Stadium. Elementary School Students get in free and get to run through the tunnel on the field!
- Gates will open at 6:00PM. Tickets are required for parents.
- Arrive by 6:30PM - Enter through Gate B.
- Meet at the YELLOW STAR on the ramp and wait there. A Coach will be there to escort the students to the field.
- After they run through the tunnel and down the field, the students will meet their parents back at the YELLOW STAR.
Marching Band Contest, Saturday, October 19th

UIL T-shirts are on sale now!
UIL Academics T-shirts for Grades 2-12 are on sale now until December 1 so order yours now!! Campus colors and the designs are the same as last year. Students will wear their shirts at our meets as well as in the yearbook picture. Parents can also purchase shirts for themselves to support their student.
