Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) News
AASA, The School Superintendents Association, and CoSN, the Consortium for School Networking, have launched a partnership committed to building a community of engaged superintendents and other school system leaders who have the skills and knowledge to bolster dynamic digital learning environments on behalf of K-12 students.
AASA is the premier organization for our nation’s superintendents, while CoSN serves as the premier professional organization for school system technology leaders. The primary focus this month is the launch of Season 7 of the EmpowerED Superintendent edLeader Panel broadcast series.

Community Engagement Tools
Effective community engagement in schools can enhance access to learning, improve student retention, foster teacher optimism, and boost attendance rates. ThoughtExchange offers valuable resources like The Essential K-12 Community Toolkit and The Superintendent’s Playbook for New District Engagement. These guides provide actionable insights on how to develop a stronger community engagement plan and build effective entry strategies, all while fostering trust and confidence within a new district.
