Parents and Students,

Third quarter wrapped up on Friday and we celebrated Pi Day! Kids participated in “Pi” themed activities and munched on circular snacks! It's so fun to watch our 8th grade leaders take on the preparation and execution of all the celebrations and activities at Falcon Creek. They do an amazing job and learn so many valuable skills.

It seems that in January, time stands still, but March, April, May tend to pass in the blink of an eye! When we come back from spring break, we will need to hit the ground running to get ready for CMAS testing (April 8-10). I have a favor to ask! If your student will NOT be testing for CMAS, please complete the “opt out” form as early as possible (now would be GREAT!) We have a very complicated schedule with lots of moving parts, so having an accurate count of the students who will be testing is critical to our success. Meet Mr. Larry Pickar

Mr. Larry Pickar is a building manager at FCMS. He enjoys the administration, staff, and students and how everyone has been nice to him. One degree he earned was telecommunications from Kutztown University, and he prefers Superman over Batman.

He is motivated by the desire to do well at FCMS and enjoys spending time playing golf and hanging out with his dogs. What CORE means to Mr. Pickar is a great way to learn more and express yourself.
