Miller Weekly Update
Week of January 13, 2025
Principal's Message
Dear Miller School Community,
Happy New Year! As we step into the second half of the school year, our Character Word of the Month: Motivation. Motivation is the driving force that empowers us to set and achieve goals, persevere through challenges, and inspire those around us. Throughout January, our teachers and staff will emphasize the importance of motivation in the classroom and beyond. Students will engage in activities and discussions designed to help them understand what motivates them and how they can harness that energy to reach their full potential. We encourage you to join us in this effort by discussing motivation at home and sharing examples from your own lives. Take a moment to reflect on what motivates you in your work, your family, and your daily life—and consider sharing those reflections with your child. These conversations can have a powerful impact and further strengthen the connection between school and home.
I also want to take this opportunity to remind you that Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held during the week of January 27th. These conferences are a valuable time to connect with your child’s teacher, celebrate progress, and collaborate on ways to support your child’s growth and success. More details about scheduling your conference will continue to be shared.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we can inspire our students to stay motivated, dream big, and achieve great things. Here’s to a month full of motivation and meaningful growth!
Best Wishes,
Jim Battersby
