Dear Pirate Families,

As we dive into the second semester, it's hard to believe we're already in February! This is a busy and exciting time for our students, especially as our Career and Technical Education (CTE) groups gear up for their competitions. I want to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance—being present at school is key to your student's success, so please ensure they’re here and ready to learn.

On January 17th, AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) packets were sent home. Each student received two assignments from every class. In the event that the district calls for an AMI day, students are required to choose three assignments to complete for each AMI day. These completed assignments should be turned in to the Principal’s office when we return to school. AMI work can also be found online at https://www.phr6.org/page/ami-learning-plans

Finally, mark your calendars for Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 10th. I strongly encourage you to take the opportunity to meet with your child's teachers. Your involvement in their education makes a significant difference in their progress.

7:30 PM: Arrive to school

FCCLA competed at Region 10 STAR events on January 24th. All three teams received gold and are advancing to State! We could not be more proud of these girls.
