Eagles Spirit Week & 100th Day Celebrations!
Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce that Eagles Spirit Week is just around the corner! Starting Monday, February 3rd, our students will have the chance to show their school spirit and participate in a fun-filled week of themed activities. Please follow the themes above. We encourage all students to join in on the fun—whether it's dressing up in your favorite Eagles gear or showing off your creativity through themed attire!
Also, mark your calendars! Our 100th Day of School will be on Friday, February 7th. In honor of this milestone, we invite all students to wear Eagles spirit wear or the color green and find a creative way to celebrate 100 days of learning, growth, and community together. We can’t wait to see how everyone celebrates this special day! Please note: Grade 2 will do their 100th day celebration on Monday, February, 10th instead.
Thank You for Your Support of the Outreach Project!
We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks for the incredible participation in our Outreach Project for the Alliance Cancer Center. Many patients have reached out to let us know how deeply touched they are by the warm wishes and beautifully decorated bags our students prepared. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are bringing comfort, hope, and joy to others during a challenging time. We are so proud of our students for taking the time to create such meaningful gifts. You’ve truly made a difference!
Thank you again for your continued support in making these initiatives a success. Together, we are building a strong and compassionate community!
Valentine's Day
On Thursday, February 13, 2025 each classroom will have a Valentine's Day party and exchange Valentine cards. They will also eat some treats. If you wish to opt out your child, we will provide an alternate activity unrelated to the holiday. Please only respond if you wish to opt your child out of any Valentine's Day celebrations. Use this link to fill out the form.
Warm regards,
Best regards,
Dr. Diana Garaitonandia

Third Grade Presentation: A Journey Through Space History
This week, our third-grade students had the incredible opportunity to engage in a presentation from the Johnsville Centrifuge and Science Museum. The presentation focused on the early years of the United States space program, all the way through to the historic Apollo 11 mission and the lunar module landing.
Students learned about the science behind rocket development and space travel and had the chance to view models of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo rockets and capsules. They were especially fascinated to discover that astronauts from these missions trained right here in Warminster at the Johnsville Naval Air Development Center.
This presentation provided a unique opportunity for our students to make connections to their learning, especially from our Wit and Wisdom study of “How and Why Do Scientists Learn About Space?” It was a truly inspiring experience for our students and a great way to bring space history to life.
