Mrs. Mulvanerty's Update
August 18, 2024
November 3, 2024
Greetings, SKS!!!
Thank you for an amazing week filled with Halloween fun and a beautiful celebration of All Saints Day! We are grateful to each of you for making these celebrations so special.
As we move into November (can you believe it?), we are excited to focus on Kindness Month. Our counselors, Kate Hendrickson and Jess Ryan have planned a Kindness Challenge to remind us that simple, everyday acts of kindness make our school and community a more joyful place. (For more information click here).
With Election Day approaching, let’s carry this spirit of kindness into the week, holding compassion and respect close to our hearts, and let's pray for our country and the people who serve it.
We invite you to join us in celebrating our faith together at the Children’s Mass at 9:30 a.m. These gatherings are a beautiful way for our children and families to connect, pray, and strengthen the bonds of our St. Katharine’s community.

Sign Up Now!
Reminder: SKS Parent Teacher Conferences for grades 1-8 will be held on Thursday afternoon and evening November 14th and during the day on Friday, November 15th. There will be a NOON dismissal on Thursday, November 14 th and NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 15th. All conferences will be scheduled via OptionC. Specials teachers will also offer a limited number of conferences to be scheduled via OptionC.
To access the schedules, go to your Option C dashboard, click on the Office tab and the Teacher Conference link is at the bottom of the Office dropdown. Scheduling for meetings is on a first come, first served basis. Please make sure you are able to login to your OptionC account.
It is important to note that you are welcome to schedule a conference, but not obligated to do so. If you have already had contact with your child's teacher and things are going well for your child academically, socially and emotionally you do not need to schedule a conference. Conferences should be scheduled for those parents who have concerns about their child’s progress.
Please note, Kindergarten students will have their conferences on January 17. Teachers will be in contact with progress reports this month. Scheduling for Kindergarten conferences will be through your child’s teacher.
Seventh Grade Thanks You!
7th grade earns over $4,000 for CASE FOR SMILES
Dear SKS Community,
The 7th grade whole-heartedly thanks you for support with our service project. With our dress down day, popsicle sale, and raffle basket ticket sales, we were able to raise $4,444 for Cases for Smiles. This week, we ironed, pinned, and sewed colorful pillowcases for hospitalized children, and we assembled coping gift boxes for their siblings. The 7th grade loved the hands-on service, and we are grateful for your support again this year!
