Hello Primary Pups!
A Note from Mrs. Bagarozza (Mrs. B)
Hello Primary Pups,
Wow! I can't believe it is already May. April was full of excellent events, including our very first Primary Spring Fling. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Wall Intermediate School last Friday for the dance. It was a great success and this is due to the MANY volunteers that provided their time, support and donations, all listed below.
A big shout out and thank you to the following people/families:
- The Macchiaverna Family and JB Productions for the amazing DJ and MC experience. We loved the light up wands too!
- Chick-fil-A Hazlet for the delicious nuggets! Thank you to Cassie Buhowski for the connection and Ashley Pires for picking it up!
- The Primary School PTA board for all of their hard work- Jon Rainho, president, Ashley Pires, vice president, Ashley Macchiaverna, secretary, Cassie Buhowski, Treasurer, Nicole Lord, beautification chair, and Jacki Barnicle.
- Jon Rainho and Ashley Pires for setting up, creating the beautiful sign, and coordinating many parts of the event.
- Our WIS and WHS student volunteers for all of their help with setting up, cleaning up, and supporting our students in between!
- Our WPS teachers and staff who helped behind the scenes! Many attended the event to support our school community as well - thank you!
The Wall Social Club was able to raise $462 for Autism NJ at the dance. Thank you SO much for your generous and wonderful contribution.
Next week, the Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Wall Primary School on Tuesday, May 7th. Your child should come home today with a book fair flyer. Students will get a chance to attend with their class during the school day. You can set up an e-wallet online or send in cash along with a wish list. Families, or just parents, are invited to shop after school as well from 3 pm to 5 pm. This will be set up outside, weather permitting, on the front lawn. Otherwise, we will find a place for it inside. We are looking for parent volunteers to help during the school day and during the family hours. Please complete this form if you are interested and able to help: https://forms.gle/K3HsGmmDw6KLMEQW6
Graduation for our 4F/4H students is right around the corner. It will be on Monday, June 10th at 10 am at the Wall Muncipal Building. The next issue of Pups Press will be full of important information about that, so stay tuned! I am looking forward to a fun filled end of the year.
Sincerely,
Samantha Bagarozza

MPS Awareness Day - 5/15
Join WPS in wearing purple or your MPS t-shirt on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 to honor MPS Awareness Day. International MPS (Mucopolysaccharidosis) Awareness Day is an important date to highlight the rare and often unknown MPS conditions. This is a day for the MPS community to recognize those diagnosed, think about loved ones who have been lost, thank scientists and doctors dedicated to finding a cure, and acknowledge parents, siblings, caregivers, and teachers who work to support those with MPS.

THE TIME IS NOW teaches that being vulnerable and facing our fears allows us to reach new goals and dreams. When we analyze the effects our emotions have on our actions, we determine how to best get into the zone before acting. This also allow us to embrace every moment and find the joy in every interaction we have.
4 Key Components in this Mindset include:
- Embrace Every Moment
- Get in The Zone
- Let Yourself be Vulnerable
- Act with Purpose
