Dear Live Oak families,

Happy New Year!

I hope this message finds you and your family healthy, rested, and ready to take on the new year!

We are all very excited to start the second half of the school year with you.

It is hard to believe, but we are half way through the second trimester of the school year. We expect our students to continue their hard work and make progress toward their academic goals. You can support academic learning at home by: creating a dedicated learning space, actively engaging with your child's schoolwork, fostering curiosity through open-ended questions, encouraging reading and discussion, setting consistent study habits and routines, monitoring progress, and connecting learning to real-world situations. Your child's education is a partnership, and we need your support to be successful.

Our school office hours are 7:30am-4pm, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are looking forward to a strong second half of the school year and will continue to do our best to keep you informed as we move forward into the new year.

Congratulations Live Oak on being recognized as a Leader in Me Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll school for the second year in a row.

Regular attendance and being at school on time everyday is a key factor in a student's success in school.

If your child is absent from school please send a note with a parent's signature or call the attendance line at 760-731-4431; indicate the student's name, teacher, date of absence, and reason for absence.
