Hawk Happenings: Parent Newsletter
December 5th
Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! We hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving break filled with joy and gratitude. As we return, we are ready to refocus on learning and making the most of this season together.
This month, we are emphasizing the character trait of humility. Learners will explore what it means to be humble, to value others, and to show kindness in their actions. We encourage you to discuss this trait at home and celebrate moments when your child demonstrates it.
Thank you for your continued support, and let’s make this month a great one!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Smith

Profile of a Graduate Day, Dec. 9th!
On Monday, December 9th, we will celebrate Profile of a Graduate Day with a focus on civic-mindedness. Learners will participate in engaging activities such as creating classroom jobs, role-playing as community helpers, drafting a classroom constitution, and holding a class vote to learn about teamwork, responsibility, and the democratic process.
Ask your child about their experiences—we’re excited to see them grow as thoughtful, engaged community members!
