2025 MCAS
MCAS season is upon is! HERE you can find the testing dates for WMHS.
MCAS testing is extremely important as the data gathered from these assessments guides future instruction. Please make sure that your child comes to school on their assigned MCAS data with a fully-charged Chromebook. Students should eat a healthy, filling breakfast; as a reminder, breakfast is free to all students in the school cafeteria each morning.
If you have any questions regarding MCAS testing, please reach out to building administration.
Student Absences
To ensure we have the most accurate attendance records for your child, please note the following:
1.) If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please call them out.
2.) If your child is going to be absent due to Covid, a fever, etc., please contact the school nurse (Teresa for MS or Suzanne Walinski for HS).
3.) If your child is going to be absent due to a reason other than illness, please contact our attendance clerks!
Please make sure all excusal notes are brought in within 48 hours of your child's return to school.
Administrative Appointments
If you would like to speak with a building administrator, please schedule an appointment to do so. MS appointments can be scheduled by calling 774-309-3022. HS appointments can be scheduled by calling 508-636-1050.
We appreciate your assistance with this!
Pickup and Dropoff Reminders
As a gentle reminder, dropoffs and picksup should not be taking place at the Westport Public Library or in front of the building. These protocols are in place to ensure the safety of our students.
Additionally, we kindly ask that individuals picking up students do not arrive prior to 1:45 PM. Parked cars can present an issue in the event of an emergency.
Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Chromebooks
All students should be coming to school with a fully-charged Chromebook along with the charger in case it is needed. We have limited loaners typically reserved for students who are waiting to have devices repaired.
